I picked up some .50 halves at 8 x face and a 1/2 oz gold maple for $275..

With tax tho ! (the dirty Bast---s).

I had to jew him down on the gold.

For the smaller buyer , and a lotta pawn shops near you might be a good time to hit em.

QWAK,I have checked two pawn shops in my local town for SILVER and GOLD they have rings and other ornamental things but NO coins,lots of GUNS and old beat up tools and generly over priced JUNK.

I did get a deal on my Mossburg 12 gage and DID talk him down some.

Pawn shop people seem to be a bit hard nosed and cold but FAST CASH generly seems to get their minds in to a more acomidating position.:hahaha: :tongue:

I have been thinking for some time that it would probably be the best for people with limited resources to get a small group together and pool resources to get the advantage of larger orders directly from the mints like NWTM or other PM dealers. If you concider the TIME and travel expences with buying small quantities it very quickly INCREASES the PREMIUM over SPOT!

What I have done is to take up offers by CREDIT CARD companies for LOW INTRIST offers for 12 months,make minimal payments then pay off the total bill the last month. 2 1/2 years ago I did that and maxed out a card I never use and bought GOLD for 1 year at ZERO INTRIST:bandit: ,did the same last July and Aug. with SILVER at 4% intrist when SILVER was just under $7.00! :bandit: :ARMS1: Just make each monts payment ON TIME because IF you are LATE they stick IT to you big time and if late twice you could be paying 25% or higher intrist and THAT realy HURTS!:mad: :frown:
